SZABIST delegation meets Minister for Women Development

KARACHI, Mar 26 (APP):A delegation from SZABIST Zabtech met with Sindh Minister for Women Development, Shaheena Sher Ali at her office on Thursday.

The delegation included Executive Director Wahida Mahesar, Program Manager Arshma Rameez, and Program Coordinator Naila Panhwer.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on women’s welfare, skills development, and economic empowerment, and consensus was reached on collaborative initiatives to advance women’s development.

It was also agreed to launch a Skills Development Program at Dar-ul-Aman through a partnership between SZABIST Zabtech and the Women Development Department.

Speaking during the meeting, Shaheena Sher Ali emphasized that collaboration between public and private institutions is vital for women’s advancement.

She stated, “Our objective is to empower deserving women by equipping them with practical skills through the Skills Development Program, thereby enabling them to achieve self-reliance.”

She added that joint initiatives could create expanded opportunities for women’s economic empowerment.

The Minister also expressed her appreciation for the initiatives undertaken by SZABIST Zabtech toward the welfare and development of women.
