HYDERABAD, Jun 03 (APP):Six people were killed and more than 50 injured after a severe storm struck Shaheed Benazirabad district last night. Authorities are currently assessing the extent of the damage. Deputy Commissioner. Abdul Samad Nizamani, has confirmed that six fatalities have been reported as a result of the powerful storm. Of the deceased, four were reported at Peoples Medical Hospital, one at Taluka Hospital Qazi Ahmed, and one at Rural Health Center in Daur.
He said that district administration shares the grief of bereaved families and express heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of lives. Deputy Commissioner said that more than 50 individuals were injured in the storm. Those with minor injuries were provided first aid and discharged from hospitals, while others are receiving medical treatment at various healthcare facilities. He said that data regarding both human and financial losses is being compiled, and the district administration continues to closely monitor the situation.
