Sindh Govt reaffirms commitment to strengthen PAQJIMS
SUKKUR, Aug 07 (APP): The 19th meeting of the Board of Governors of Pir Abdul Qadir Shah Jeelani Institute of Medical Sciences (PAQSJIMS), was held under the chairmanship of Provincial Minister for Health and Population Welfare and Chairperson of the Board, Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho.
According to release issued by PAQJIMS Spokesperson Jameel Hyder on Friday, Director, Dr. Raheem Bux Bhatti, gave a detailed briefing on the overall performance of the institute, provision of advanced medical facilities, administrative, financial and developmental matters, and future strategic plans.
The meeting was attended by Khalid Hussain Soomro, Retired Additional Chief Secretary, along with other distinguished members of the Board.
On the occasion, it was reaffirmed that strengthening institutions of national importance like PAQJIMS, ensuring effective governance and its continuous development for provision of quality, state of the art and timely healthcare services to the people, remains among the top priorities of the Government of Sindh.
