Sindh govt prioritizing basic facilities, infrastructure development: Sharjeel Memon

HYDERABAD, Sep 25 (APP):Sindh senior minister for information, transport and mass transit and member Sindh Assembly from PS-61, Sharjeel Inam Memon, hosted a dinner for people of his constituency at Rawal House here on Friday night.

During the gathering, Sharjeel Memon met citizens, notables and public representatives and listened to their issues. He assured them that necessary steps would be taken for the resolution of their problems.

Addressing the participants, he said that maintaining direct contact with the people, listening to their problems and taking practical measures for their resolution were among the basic responsibilities of elected representatives.

He said effective measures would be ensured by approaching the relevant departments and institutions for the resolution of public issues.

The minister said the Sindh government was working on various development projects across the province for the welfare of people and provision of basic facilities, while several projects had already been completed.

He added the government’s priorities included construction and rehabilitation of roads, healthcare, education, provision of clean drinking water, drainage, public transport and improvement of other basic facilities.

Memon said the development activities of the Sindh government were aimed at providing better facilities to people in both urban and rural areas, strengthening infrastructure and improving their quality of life.

He said development projects would continue to be implemented keeping in view public needs and local issues.

On the occasion, notables and citizens of the area discussed various matters with the provincial minister, who assured them that necessary coordination and follow-up with the concerned departments would be carried out for the resolution of their problems.
