The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh has announced province wide protest demonstrations on Sunday, July 12 against India’s water aggression, violation of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and attempts to block the flow of the River Indus.
PPP to hold protest rally in Sanghar against India’s water aggression

HYDERABAD, Jul 10 (APP): The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh has announced province wide protest demonstrations on Sunday, July 12 against India’s water aggression, violation of the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and attempts to block the flow of the River Indus.
According to a statement issued by PPP Sanghar Information Secretary Imran Dhamrah, the party’s district chapter will also hold a protest rally at the district headquarters in Sanghar. The rally will begin at 5:30pm from Aijaz Hussain Zardari’s house and will be attended by party leaders, elected representatives, office-bearers, workers and supporters.
The statement said the protest aims to condemn the Indian actions against Pakistan’s water resources, demand adherence to the Indus Waters Treaty and reaffirm the party’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s water rights.
