Pakistan in 2047 will be in the hands of today’s youth: Sindh Governor
KARACHI, Aug 30 (APP): The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, addressing the fifth graduation ceremony of Denning Institute of Technology and Entrepreneurship, said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader of the subcontinent who, through his political vision, struggle and leadership, secured an independent homeland for the Muslims.
He said that had Quaid-e-Azam not participated in politics, the creation of Pakistan would not have been possible.
The Governor said that the Muslims of the subcontinent exercised the power of their vote and opinion, which ultimately led to the establishment of Pakistan. He said that today’s youth should also exercise their right to vote responsibly and play their role in the country’s democratic process.
Hashmi said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan had given special importance to youth in his priorities. Through the Prime Minister’s Digital Youth Hub, opportunities for loans, scholarships, employment, training and other facilities are available for young people. He urged the youth to make full use of these opportunities.
He said that under the Prime Minister’s Vision 2047, youth had been placed at the center of Pakistan’s future. The message of this vision is that “we must not lose.” Pakistan in 2047 will be in the hands of today’s youth, therefore, young people should make education, technology, skills and character their strengths.
The Governor of Sindh said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Field Marshal, Pakistan successfully defeated an enemy many times. He said that today the world was looking towards Pakistan for peace, while the Makkah Agreement aimed at promoting peace was an important step in this direction.
Congratulating the graduates, the Governor Sindh said that obtaining a degree was not the end but the beginning of a new journey in practical life. He said that young people should utilize their education and capabilities for the development of Pakistan, strengthening the economy and improving society.
