President of Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) barrister Ayaz Latif Palijo has been served a call up notice by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) with directions to appear before the inquiry officer in Karachi on August 10.

HYDERABAD, Aug 07 (APP): President of Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) barrister Ayaz Latif Palijo has been served a call up notice by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) with directions to appear before the inquiry officer in Karachi on August 10.

According to the letter, which was issued by Inspector Ghulam Murtaza Kaka from Karachi on Friday, an inquiry against Palijo had been registered by the agency with the approval of the competent authority.

He was warned that non-compliance with the letter would entail legal proceedings punishable under section 174 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).

The callup notice had been served under section 160 of Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC).
