MPA provides modern sports equipment to Shikarpur Sports Complex
SUKKUR, Jul 31 (APP):Member of the Sindh Assembly (MPA) Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh has provided modern sports equipment to the Sports Complex near Shahi Bagh in Shikarpur.
The MPA said that two modern table tennis tables and other essential sports equipment were handed over to the Sports Complex to facilitate young athletes and promote sporting activities in the district, said a press release on Friday.
On the occasion, District Table Tennis General Secretary Uzair Ahmed, Nasrullah Memon, coach Abdul Wahab Kaghzi, Sharjeel Mufti, Majid Memon, and other players installed the new tables and played an inaugural match.
Sports coaches, players, and other participants expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh, stating that such practical initiatives to promote sports were highly commendable.
They emphasized that these efforts would encourage young people to participate in healthy and constructive activities while also providing them with opportunities to develop and showcase their sporting abilities.
