HCSTSI delegation attends 3rd convocation of Government Collage University

A delegation of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, led by Vice President Shan Sehgal, attended the 3rd convocation of Government College University Hyderabad. 

HYDERABAD, Aug 20 (APP): A delegation of Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, led by Vice President Shan Sehgal, attended the 3rd convocation of Government College University Hyderabad.
In which the chief guest and Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards Muhammad Ismail Rahoo attended, while Vice Chancellor Government College University Hyderabad Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan presided over the ceremony.
On this occasion, Chamber Vice President Shan Sehgal congratulated the administration, faculty and graduating students of Government College University Hyderabad and said that strong linkages between universities and the industrial and business sector are the need of the hour.
He said that in order to align education with the needs of the practical field, university-industry liaison must be made more effective so that quality internships, training and better employment opportunities can be provided to the new graduates.
Shan Sehgal said that Hyderabad Chamber attaches importance to establishing strong and fruitful links with the universities of Sindh for the better future and career development of educated youth. The aim of the chamber is to bring universities and the business and industrial sector closer to each other so that the professional skills of students can be improved according to the needs of the industry and employment opportunities can be created for the youth after graduation.
The delegation of Hyderabad Chamber also met the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan, various deans and other senior officials of the university. In the meeting, mutual cooperation between the university and the business community, internship programs, industrial linkages and creation of employment opportunities for graduates were discussed.
The university administration invited a delegation from the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries to visit the university and further advance joint cooperation in the future. Shan Sehgal said that Hyderabad Chamber is already working with various universities in Sindh to promote educational and industrial linkages and will continue to take such steps in the future that will help provide practical experience, internships and better employment opportunities to educated youth according to their qualifications. The Hyderabad Chamber delegation also included Secretary General Furqan Ahmed Lodhi.
