DEPD Deputy Regional Director visits renovated NDF Rehabilitation Center Larkana

Deputy Regional Director Saeed Ahmed Jatio, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, visited the newly renovated NDF Rehabilitation Center Larkana on Monday and appreciated the efforts of NDF management in improving rehabilitation facilities for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

LARKANA, Oct 05 (APP): Deputy Regional Director Saeed Ahmed Jatio, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, visited the newly renovated NDF Rehabilitation Center Larkana on Monday and appreciated the efforts of NDF management in improving rehabilitation facilities for children with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
During the visit, Jatoi toured the renovated building and observed the rehabilitation and therapy facilities available for children.
He appreciated the beautifully renovated and child-friendly environment, modern therapy equipment, and improved facilities designed to provide quality rehabilitation services to children with Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Abid Lashari, President NDF Pakistan, welcomed the Deputy Regional Director and briefed him about NDF’s rehabilitation services in Larkana.
He highlighted the importance of the collaboration between NDF Pakistan and DEPD, Government of Sindh, in ensuring that children with disabilities and their families have access to quality rehabilitation and support services.
Lashari stated that the renovated center will further strengthen services including physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychological support, special education, assessment, and family counselling.
Saeed Ahmed Jatoi commended NDF’s commitment and expressed appreciation for the organization’s continued efforts to improve the quality of life, independence, inclusion, and dignity of children with disabilities.
NDF Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with DEPD, Government of Sindh, to expand and strengthen rehabilitation services for children with disabilities in Larkana and other underserved areas of Sindh.
