HYDERABAD, Sep 25 (APP): The Sindh High Court has put the Sindh Finance Department and Sindh Education Department on notice in a petition concerning denial of salary increment to around 900 BPS-17 headmasters of government schools.
According to details, advocate Jamshed Faiz pleaded before the court that his clients qualified the recruitment exam conducted by Sukkur IBA University to qualify for those posts on contract basis.
He added that they all later appeared in a Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) conducted exam to become eligible for regularization of their jobs.
He urged the court to ask from the provincial government’s concerned departments justification for denying salary increment to his clients.
The SHC’s Hyderabad Circuit Bench, comprising justices Mubeen Lakho and Zulfiqar Ali Sangi, directed the respondents to submit a reply on October 8.
