Delegation of Baahn Beli calls on Sindh Governor

KARACHI, Aug 31 (APP): Sindh Governor Syed Mohammad Nehal Hashmi met a delegation led by Baahn Beli founder Senator Javed Jabbar at the Governor House.

     The Governor said that his practical journey of social training and public service began in 1985 through Senator Javed Jabbar’s organization, Baahn Beli.

   “After my parents and teachers, Senator Javed Jabbar has been the most influential personality in guiding and shaping my social service journey,” the Governor said.

    He said that through the collective efforts of Baahn Beli, several schools, dams and maternity homes had been established in Thar.

     “Senator Javed Jabbar is a shining example of sincerity, simplicity, integrity and service to humanity,” Governor Hashmi said.

     Senator Javed Jabbar said that despite the  passage of four decades, there had been no decline in Nehal Hashmi’s sincerity, simplicity or spirit of service.

     He recalled that immediately after assuming office as the Sindh Governor, Nehal Hashmi had visited his residence the very next day, describing the gesture as a mark of respect and honour.
