LARKANA, Jul 11 (APP): A significant meeting was held in District Larkana under the Deputy Commissioner Larkana, Tariq Manzoor Chandio, regarding the rising prices of LPG here on Saturday.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner-I Larkana Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioner Larkana Raja Qureshi, DSP Haideri Ahmed Bakhsh Rahujo, Assistant Director of the Bureau of Supply and Price Department Larkana Mir Shah Nawaz Sheikh, and other relevant officials.
On this occasion, the Assistant Director of the Bureau of Supply and Price Department briefed the Deputy Commissioner about the excessive prices of LPG in District Larkana and also apprised him of the new notified price by OGRA, in accordance with the notification issued by OGRA on June 30, 2026.
According to the notification, the maximum price of LPG for consumers has been fixed at Rs. 241.43 per kilogram, while the maximum price for an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder is Rs. 2848.91.
The Deputy Commissioner Larkana directed all Assistant Commissioners of District Larkana, the Police Department, the Assistant Director of the Bureau of Supply and Price Department Larkana, and all Mukhtarkars (revenue officers) of District Larkana to ensure the implementation of the newly notified LPG prices and to take strict action against violators.
He further instructed that a daily implementation report be submitted to the office of the Deputy Commissioner Larkana.
