HYDERABAD, Aug 21 (APP): The Sindh Culture and Tourism Minister Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah has announced that the Arts Council Hyderabad will undergo complete restoration to make the facility functional and to provide a place to the citizens to organize literary, musical and cultural events.
Chairing a meeting here on Friday, the minister underscored the importance of the facility and the need to rehabilitate it at the earliest.
He expressed hope that the office bearers and members of the council after their election would contribute their part towards the growth of the facility.
Shah said the provincial government had been supporting artists through various modes, adding that once the arts council was made functional it would provide a platform to artists.
Commissioner Hyderabad Fayaz Abbassi and officers of the Culture Department were present in the meeting.
