HYDERABAD, Jun 17 (APP): Commissioner Hyderabad Division Fayaz Hussain Abbasi chaired a meeting in New DC Complex Committee Room regarding the progress of ongoing flagship development projects in Hyderabad.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon briefed the participants on the status and progress of various development schemes being implemented across the district.
The meeting was attended by CEO HESCO Faizullah Dahiri, CEO Hyderabad Water & Sewerage Corporation Tufail Abro, Municipal Commissioner Hyderabad Zahoor Ahmed Lakhan, senior officers of HESCO, SSGC, HW&SC, Local Government, Public Health Engineering Department, Provincial Highways, Irrigation Department, Assistant Commissioners of all talukas, and representatives of contracting firms.
The concerned departments highlighted key issues, challenges, and progress achieved on the ongoing projects. Commissioner Hyderabad and Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad directed all departments, executing agencies, and contractors to ensure the timely completion of development projects and to remove any obstacles causing delays.
They emphasized maintaining quality standards and enhancing coordination among all stakeholders for the successful execution of public welfare initiatives.
Following the meeting, the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, along with the participating officials, visited various flagship development projects to review work on-site.
During the visit, detailed discussions were held regarding project implementation, progress, and pending issues. Necessary instructions were issued to the concerned departments and contractors to expedite work and ensure completion within the stipulated timelines for the benefit of the public.
