HYDERABAD, Jun 17 (APP):Divisional Commissioner Fayaz Hussain Abbasi chairs meeting of National Highway Authority (NHA) officials at Commissioner office, Shahbaz Building Hyderabad. The meeting conducted a detailed review of commercialization of National Highways’ Right of Way (RoW), issuance of NOCs, collection of annual lease charges, and removal of encroachments.
Deputy Commissioners Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Matiari, and Abdul Latif Mahesar, Member South Sindh, GM National Highway Authority Ubaidullah Umrani, Director, Deputy Director NHA, HESCO and other officers from relevant departments attended the meeting .Deputy Commissioners of Dadu and Thatta joined via video link.
The meeting discussed regulating housing schemes, filling stations, petrol pumps, hotels, restaurants, factories, mills, HESCO grid stations, NTDC transmission centers, and other commercial and residential development projects established along National Highways N-5/N-55/M6/M9 passing through districts Matiari, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Thatta, and Dadu.
Commissioner Hyderabad directed all Deputy Commissioners to hold meetings with relevant stakeholders in their respective districts, provide administrative support to the National Highway Authority, and make coordination between stakeholders and NHA more effective.
