Care of poor, needy on Eid is our religious responsibility: Awais Shah
KARACHI, Mar 20 (APP):Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh Syed Awais Qadir Shah has extended heartfelt Eidul Fitr greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah.
He said that Eidul Fitr marks the culmination of worship, patience, and piety observed during the holy month of Ramazan.
Shah said that Eid is the best opportunity to express gratitude to Allah Almighty and seek repentance as well as ask for forgiveness.
Eid teaches us the values of love, brotherhood and sacrifice in accordance with the Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), he said adding that by following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) we can build a welfare-oriented society.
He said that care for the poor, needy and underprivileged on Eid is our religious responsibility.
