KARACHI, Jun 14 (APP): The Governor of Sindh Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah have said that blood donation is a noble act of serving humanity and saving lives.
In their separate messages on World Blood Donor Day, they said that a single blood donation can become a source of new hope and a new life for someone in need.
The Governor appealed to the public especially the youth to donate blood voluntarily.
He said that safe blood transfusion is essential for building a healthy and responsible society.
He said that continuous blood donations are critically important for patients suffering from thalassemia and other medical conditions.
Syed Muhammad Nejal Hashmi said that people who donate blood are the true heroes of humanity.
The Governor of Sindh said that healthy citizens should consider blood donation as part of their social responsibility and humanitarian service.
