MULTAN, Jan 30 (APP):Singers enthralled audience by presenting Saraiki, Punjab and Urdu songs at Multan Arts Council during a well attended music evening on late Monday night.
Titled “Sur ka Safar” the evening was jointly arranged by Radio Pakistan and Multan Arts Council.
Known singers Arif Khan Babar, Sobia Malik, Urooj Khan, Muhammad Waqas and others sang melodious song for over three hours.
The MAC was echoed by thunder of applause time and again at the superb performance of the singers.
A large number of families attended the evening.
Addressing on the occasion, Station Director Radio Pakistan Multan, Mukhtiar Hussain Malik said they were trying to explore new talent through these shows.
He said Multan was a cultural and ancient city which had produced big names for music industry.
The SD informed that they were trying their level best to improve the ongoing program at Radio Multan.
Resident Director MAC, Sajjad Jehania also spoke.
