LAHORE, Dec 22 (APP): Veteran film and TV star, Masood Akhtar on Tuesday appealed to the Punjab government to extend the committee of Artist Support Fund (ASF) formed for the welfare of the artists in Punjab.
Talking to APP, he said that at present a four-member committee was working in this regard which was dominated by those artists who basically belonged to Karachi like Zeba Begum and Mustafa Qureshi.
He said that a few artists from Punjab should also be included in the committee in the larger interest of Punjabi artists.
