ISLAMABAD, Oct 4 (APP): Lok Virsa Mandwa Film Club would screen Italian classic film “La Terra Trema” on Saturday at Virsa Media Centre.
Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr Fouzia Saeed and film lovers from twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi would watch the movie.
According to Lok Virsa, it is a 1948 Italian dramatic film directed by Luchino Visconti. The movie is adapted from Giovanni Verga’s novel Malavoglia (1881) (The House by the Medlar Tree) for the screen.
The picture features, as non-credited non-professional actors, Antonio Arcidiacono, Giuseppe Arcidiacono, and many others.
