ISLAMABAD, Aug 9 (APP): The Republic of Korea (ROK) on Tuesday strongly condemned the Quetta attack whereby killing scores of people besides injuring over 100 others.
Ambassador of Dong-gu Shu expressed condemnation and condolences at a meeting with Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer Hussain.
“People and the government of ROK are with the people of Pakistan and strongly condemn the massacre of innocent people,” he Ambassador said.
Meanwhile, they decided to enhance cooperation in the defence production sector with the aim to give impetus to the production sector.
They exchanged views on matters of shared interest and improving cooperation in defence production, a press release of the ministry here stated.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on initiation of investment ventures in Pakistan with special regard to heavy industry and Information Technology sectors.
Rana Tanveer Hussain welcomed the Korean Ambassador who has recently taken over his diplomatic assignment in Pakistan.
