RAWALPINDI, Apr 08 (APP): The Matriculation First Annual Examination 2026 is being conducted in a peaceful and transparent manner in Rawalpindi under a strict zero-tolerance policy against malpractice.
According to the Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE)spokesman, the arrangements are being implemented in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and directives of Chief Secretary Zahid Zaman and Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat.
Commissioner Rawalpindi and Chairman Board of RBISE, Engineer Aamir Khattak, said no compromise would be made on examination standard operating procedures (SOPs), warning that strict disciplinary action would be taken against violators. He added that examination centres were being continuously monitored online through a central command and control room.
Meanwhile, Controller of Examinations Tanveer Asghar Awan said three candidates were caught copying during a visit to Government High School Ghora Gali, Murree.
Cases had been registered against them and forwarded to the disciplinary branch, he added.
He reiterated his resolve to continue indiscriminate action against those involved in cheating to ensure merit and transparency in the examination process.
