An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday adjourned until tomorrow the hearing of a post-arrest bail petition filed by Falak Javed in a case involving an alleged attack on Islamabad police officers at Zaman Park.
Zaman Park attack case: Court adjourns Falak Javed’s bail petition till Sept 2

LAHORE, Sep 01 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday adjourned until tomorrow the hearing of a post-arrest bail petition filed by Falak Javed in a case involving an alleged attack on Islamabad police officers at Zaman Park.
The court gave the police a final opportunity to submit the complete record of the case after the prosecution sought more time to produce it.
ATC Judge Malik Abid Hussain conducted the proceedings on bail petition filed by Falak Javed.
Falak Javed had filed the post-arrest bail petition. She contended that the investigation had been completed and sought her release on bail. She is currently in jail on judicial remand in the case.
According to the FIR, Falak Javed was allegedly involved in an attack on Islamabad police officials at Zaman Park. The prosecution claims that a petrol bomb was recovered from her.
The case relates to an incident when Islamabad police arrived at the Zaman Park residence of PTI founder to serve summons. According to the police, protesters allegedly threw petrol bombs at the officers, injuring several personnel.
A case, FIR No. 410/23, was registered at Race Course Police Station in connection with the alleged attack on the police.
