GUJRAT, Aug 22 (APP):A woman was killed while three others,including a child,sustained injuries when an oil tanker collided with a passenger coaster near Fatehpur Chowk,here on Saturday. According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred after the tanker driver reportedly fell asleep while driving, causing the vehicle to crash into the coaster. GUJRAT, Aug 22 (APP):A woman was killed while three others,including a child,sustained injuries when an oil tanker collided with a passenger coaster near Fatehpur Chowk,here on Saturday.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred after the tanker driver reportedly fell asleep while driving, causing the vehicle to crash into the coaster.
As a result,Yasmeen Karamat(33) died on the spot while Ibrahim Naveed(4),Naveed Iqbal(41) and Shaista Naveed(35) sustained injuries.
Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and provided first aid to the injured.The critically injured child was shifted to Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Hospital,Gujrat for further treatment,while the body of the woman was also shifted to the hospital.
