He directed WASA officials to eliminate stagnant water, ensure thorough cleaning of buildings and water tanks, and submit photographic evidence of preventive activities to block mosquito breeding.
Chairing a meeting, the WASA Managing Director directed all directorates to adopt proactive and effective measures against dengue and complete all necessary arrangements for cleanliness and preventive activities at their respective offices.

Engineer Saqib Raza directed the respective directors to remain responsible for cleanliness of all office buildings under their administrative control and personally monitor the preventive arrangements.
He ordered that office buildings, rooftops and water tanks must be thoroughly cleaned while stagnant water accumulated in office premises or adjoining areas should be removed immediately and under no circumstances be allowed to remain.
The MD WASA stressed that eliminating potential mosquito breeding sites was imperative to protect employees and the public from dengue and preventing the spread of the disease.
