SIALKOT, Aug 05 (APP):The University of Sialkot observed Youm-e-Istehsal-Kashmir on Wednesday to express solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJK).
The event highlighted the University’s commitment to peace, justice, human rights, and support for the people of Kashmir.
The observance began with a one-minute silence in memory of the Kashmir martyrs. A Kashmir Solidarity Walk was then organized on campus, led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, Vice Chancellor, University of Sialkot (USKT). The walk was attended by Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, students, and administrative staff.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment by the University community to uphold the values of peace, justice, and human dignity, while expressing support for the people of IIOIK.
