UoS gets new dean of arts and humanities
SARGODHA, Jun 01 (APP):The Punjab governor has appointed Prof Dr Shamshad Ahmad as Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sargodha.
According to a press release issued by UoS, Prof Dr Shamshad Ahmad, a professor of Library and Information Science, was appointed on merit after securing the highest position among eligible candidates.
Vice Chancellor UoS Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas congratulated Prof Dr Shamshad Ahmad on his appointment and expressed confidence in his academic and administrative capabilities.
Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas also extended his best wishes to the newly-appointed dean for a successful tenure in advancing the faculty’s academic mission and contributing to the university’s overall development.
