UAF arranges home economics exhibition

The Institute of Home Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), has organized a Home Economics Exhibition at the Expo Center, showcasing students’ innovative projects, creative products and entrepreneurial skills in the fields of food, nutrition, textiles, interior design and family sciences.

FAISALABAD, Jun 16 (APP): The Institute of Home Sciences, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), has organized a Home Economics Exhibition at the Expo Center, showcasing students’ innovative projects, creative products and entrepreneurial skills in the fields of food, nutrition, textiles, interior design and family sciences.
The exhibition attracted faculty members, students, industry representatives and visitors from different walks of life.
UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zulfiqar Ali appreciated the efforts of the Institute and said that such exhibitions provide students with practical learning opportunities and help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements.
He emphasized that universities must promote innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship to prepare graduates for future challenges.
Divisional Commissioner Faisalabad Madam Musarrat Jabeen lauded the quality and diversity of the exhibits.
She said that the students’ work reflected the potential of youth to contribute positively to economic and social development.
Dean Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Home Sciences, Dr Imran Pasha highlighted the importance of experiential learning and encouraged students to pursue innovation-driven careers for national progress.
Director Institute of Home Sciences, Dr Beenish Israr said that the exhibition aimed to provide a platform for students to display their skills and transform ideas into practical solutions.
Ayesha Riaz, Adeela Manzoor, Hira Iftikhar and other experts were also present on the occasion.
