Two women were killed and two others injured after a car collided with a truck on the M-2 Motorway near Kot Momin on Saturday, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) said.

SARGODHA, Jul 25 (APP): Two women were killed and two others injured after a car collided with a truck on the M-2 Motorway near Kot Momin on Saturday, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) said.
According to an NHMP spokesperson, the accident occurred due to the driver’s alleged inattention, causing the car to crash into the truck.
Motorway Police personnel rushed to the scene shortly after receiving information about the accident, shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and managed traffic to ensure the smooth flow of vehicles on the motorway.
The deceased were identified as Afshan Bibi and Robina Bibi.
SP Motorway Police, Faisal Akram also visited the site to oversee the rescue and relief operation, while the sector commander monitored rescue activities and traffic management, the spokesperson added.
