Two men get life imprisonment in abuse case

RAWALPINDI, Mar 31 (APP): A local court has sentenced two men to life imprisonment in abuse case of a girl.

The convicts, Zahid and Osama were each awarded life imprisonment, a fine of Rs1.0 million, and Rs1.0 million in compensation to the victim. The total penalty amounts to life imprisonment and Rs.2.0 million in fines and Rs.2.0 million in compensation.

According to the details, the case was registered in May 2024 at Civil Lines Police Station. Police officials said the court handed down the verdict based on solid evidence and effective prosecution of the case.
