RAWALPINDI, Jul 13 (APP): Police have arrested a two-member gang allegedly involved in motorcycle theft and other burglary incidents, recovering six stolen motorcycles and Rs20,000 in cash during a successful operation.
According to the police spokesperson, the suspects were taken into custody as part of an ongoing crackdown against street crime in the city.
SP Rawal Saad Arshad commended the police team Rata Amral for their swift professionalism and said the accused would be presented before the court with solid evidence to ensure their prosecution.
He reiterated that the police remain committed to bringing habitual offenders to justice.
“Those who deprive citizens of their valuable property cannot escape the grip of the law,” the SP said.
Rawalpindi Police have urged the public to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting suspicious activities to help curb crime in the district.
