Two men were injured after being struck by lightning in Sakhi Sarwar town, around 35 kilometres away from DG Khan city on Thursday, according to rescue officials.

DERA GHAZI KHAN, May 14 (APP):Two men were injured after being struck by lightning in Sakhi Sarwar town, around 35 kilometres away from DG Khan city on Thursday, according to rescue officials.
A Rescue 1122 spokesperson said that a team of rescuers was sent to the spot at Juma Morr in response to the emergency call. The two men were standing under a tree when lightning suddenly struck, leaving them injured. Rescue personnel provided the first aid at the site before shifting them to Allama Iqbal Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
One of the injured men, Mushtaq (25), son of Muhammad Iqbal, sustained a head injury while the other 35-year-old Mustafa, son of Noor Muhammad, suffered minor injuries. Both are stable now.
