Police have arrested two alleged drug suppliers and recovered more than seven kilograms of drugs from their possession during crackdown here on Monday.

RAWALPINDI, Aug 31 (APP): Police have arrested two alleged drug suppliers and recovered more than seven kilograms of drugs from their possession during crackdown here on Monday.
According to Police spokesperson, Rawat Police held drug supplier and recovered 5.5 kg of hashish from his possession.
The suspect has previously been convicted and has criminal record involving cases of murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, weapons and narcotics.
In a separate operation, the R.A. Bazaar Police arrested another supplier and recovered 1.6 kg of hashish from his custody.
Police have registered separate cases against the suspects and further investigation was in progress.
City Police Officer (CPO) Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera commended police team and said all possible measures were being taken to eliminate the menace of drugs from the city.
