Two criminals held,stolen property worth Rs 1.75m returned to complainants

Police on Thursday arrested two suspects allegedly involved in multiple theft and robbery cases and recovered stolen property worth more than Rs1.75 million, which was later handed over to the complainants.

MUZAFFARGARH, Jun 18 (APP):Police on Thursday arrested two suspects allegedly involved in multiple theft and robbery cases and recovered stolen property worth more than Rs1.75 million, which was later handed over to the complainants.
According to a police spokesperson,a team led by SHO Zarif Khan launched a crackdown against criminal elements operating in the Shah Jamal area and apprehended two suspects wanted in several cases.
During the operation,police recovered eight stolen motorcycles valued at over Rs.1.5 million along with cash amounting to Rs.255,000 from the suspects’ possession.
The recovered motorcycles and cash were returned to the complainants after completing the necessary legal formalities,the spokesperson said.
Police officials said efforts to curb crime would continue and that operations against criminal elements would be intensified to ensure the protection of life and property and maintain law and order in the area.
