An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday indicted two alleged members of a banned organisation in a case involving the recovery of explosive material.

LAHORE, Oct 02 (APP): An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Friday indicted two alleged members of a banned organisation in a case involving the recovery of explosive material.
Accused Muhammad Asif and Sajjad Hussain were produced before the court, where their attendance was marked for commencement of the trial.
ATC Judge Malik Abid Hussain formally framed charges against both accused. They denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty.
The court summoned prosecution witnesses to record their statements and adjourned further proceeding until October 15.
The prosecution has already submitted a challan against the accused, claiming that they were affiliated with a banned organisation and had been arrested after explosive material was allegedly recovered from them.
According to the prosecution, the accused were involved in terrorist activities.
The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD), Lahore, registered the case against the two suspects in 2026.
