A truck driver lost his life after his vehicle overturned near Sandeela Chowk in Kot Addu on Tuesday,rescue officials said.

MUZAFFARGARH, Jun 16 (APP):A truck driver lost his life after his vehicle overturned near Sandeela Chowk in Kot Addu on Tuesday,rescue officials said.

According to Rescue 1122 sources,the truck,which was carrying a consignment of plums met with the accident after the driver reportedly fell asleep while driving.

The vehicle overturned,leaving the driver dead on the spot.

The deceased was identified as Siraj ud Din.

Further investigation into the incident was underway.
