RAWALPINDI, Aug 27 (APP): A tree plantation campaign was organised at Allama Iqbal Park in collaboration with the Horticulture Agency Rawalpindi (HAR) and Secours Islamique France (SIF), with staff members and SIF representatives planting saplings at different locations in the park.

The participants expressed their commitment to increasing the city’s green cover, reducing environmental pollution and promoting a clean, healthy and pleasant environment for citizens.

The participants highlighted the importance of trees in providing clean air, improving the climate and promoting a healthy society. They also urged citizens to plant more trees and protect existing plants.

The joint campaign was described as a collaborative effort to promote environmental protection and make Rawalpindi a greener and more sustainable city.
