Police have intensified operations against drug trafficking following arrest of three drug suppliers and recovered over 4 kilograms of drugs from their possession here Sunday.

RAWALPINDI, May 17 (APP): Police have intensified operations against drug trafficking following arrest of three drug suppliers and recovered over 4 kilograms of drugs from their possession here Sunday.

During the raids, Chuntra Police seized 1.7 kg drugs from drug pusher while Ganjmandi Police arrested another supplier and recovered 1.5 kg. Similarly, the Bani Police confiscated 1.1 kg of drugs in another raid.

Police have registered separate cases against all of them and further investigation was in progress.

Police spokesperson stated that all necessary measures were being taken to eradicate the menace of narcotics from the society.
