Suspect held during CCD police encounter in Kahror Pakka
LODHRAN, Aug 23 (APP):A suspected robber was arrested in injured condition while his accomplice managed to escape during a police encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD) in Kahror Pakka,here on Sunday.
According to police,an exchange of fire took place between CCD personnel and two suspected robbers.
One suspect,identified as Imam Bakhsh,sustained injuries and was arrested, while his accomplice fled the scene.
Police said the injured suspect was wanted in connection with 35 criminal cases,including theft,robbery and street crime.
He was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
Following the incident, police imposed a district-wide cordon and launched a search operation to apprehend the fleeing suspect.
