Suspect arrested for attempted kidnapping of Madrasa Student in Pirwadhai

RAWALPINDI, Jun 16 (APP): Police have arrested a suspect accused of attempting to kidnap a madrasa student here on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident came to light after the victim’s father lodged a complaint stating that his son was returning home from a madrassa when the suspect allegedly tried to abduct him.

The child raised an alarm, prompting the suspect to flee the scene.

Acting promptly on the citizen’s report, Pirwadhai Police registered a case and launched an investigation. Through a combination of technical surveillance and human intelligence, officers successfully traced and apprehended the suspect.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Rawal, Saad Arshad, said the accused would be presented before the court with solid evidence and that all legal requirements would be fulfilled to ensure justice. He made it clear that it is prime duty of police to protect lives and properties of the people.
