MULTAN, Jul 21 (APP): Police resolved a high-value theft case by recovering 17 tola gold ornaments worth over Rs 7.5 million and arrested the main suspects involved in the crime.
Police said on Tuesday that the theft, occurred at a marriage hall on Multan Public School road, was reported to DHA police station.
SHO Hafiz Shehbaz, along with Sub inspector Muhammad Mumtaz and the IT team, used professional investigative techniques to trace the suspects, arrested them, and recovered the stolen gold ornaments.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of senior police officers including SSP Operations Haider Ali, SSP Investigation Muhammad Tahir, SP Gulgasht Saifullah, and DSP Sadr Muhammad Khalid.
The recovered jewelry was formally handed over to the complainant during a ceremony held at the CPO office.
Addressing the ceremony, CPO Dogar reiterated commitment to protecting life and property of citizens and promised indiscriminate action would continue against criminal elements.
The complainant thanked Multan police for their prompt action and successful recovery of stolen valuables.
