RAWALPINDI, Aug 17 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Malik Tariq Mehboob here on Monday held an open court (Khuli Kachehri) at the Police Lines Headquarters, to address public grievances and issued directives to the concerned officers for their prompt resolution.
SSP instructed relevant officers to ensure that legal action on marked applications to be completed within the stipulated timeframe.
He stressed that negligence or delay in resolving citizens’ complaints would not be tolerated.
Malik Tariq Mehboob further directed police officials to ensure the provision of efficient and citizen-friendly services at police stations at all times.
He said that, in line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, the protection of citizens’ lives and property and the provision of necessary facilities to the public remained the top priorities of the Punjab Police.
All possible measures were being taken to ensure the timely resolution of public grievances and improve service delivery.
The SSP also emphasized that officers must remain responsive to citizens and take immediate action on legitimate complaints in accordance with the law.
