RAWALPINDI, Sep 29 (APP): Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Investigation Saifullah has directed police personnel to treat citizens courteously and resolve their problems on a priority basis.
He issued these directions during a meeting at Mandra Police Station attended by ASP Gujar Khan, SHOs, investigation officers and moharrir staff. The SSP reviewed the performance of officers individually and issued necessary instructions.
He directed officers to conclude under-investigation cases in the light of facts and ensure that all cases were handled on merit. He also ordered effective action to arrest suspects involved in murder and other serious cases and directed officers to further improve operations against proclaimed offenders (POs) and people with previous criminal records.
SSP Saifullah directed senior officers to personally supervise the investigation of serious and important cases. He also inspected the front desk, lock-up, police station record and other matters and stressed that citizens visiting the police station should be dealt with politely and their complaints resolved promptly.
