MULTAN, Jun 16 (APP):An employee of the Special Protection Unit (SPU) was killed in a tragic road accident when two trailers collided on the M-5 Motorway near Sher Shah Interchange late Monday night.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, a trailer travelling towards Karachi crashed into the rear of another trailer moving in the same direction.
Upon information, the rescue teams reached the spot and found that the impact was severe, resulting in the instant death of an SPU employee travelling in the trailer. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident. Legal proceedings launched and also informed officials concerned about the incident.
