ATTOCK, Apr 6 (APP): In a tragic, fatal, and devastating road accident, a speeding dumper suddenly rammed into a motorcycle on GT Road near Mian Jee Hotel in Hassan Abdal on Monday, resulting in the death of a 70-year-old man and injuries to another.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the collision proved instantly fatal for Banaras, son of Ghulam Khan, who died on the spot. The second victim, 26-year-old Hamza, was seriously injured in the crash. However, prompt response from rescue teams ensured that the injured was attended to without delay.
Rescue personnel swiftly reached the scene, administered first aid, and carefully shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Hassan Abdal for further treatment. Furthermore, the body of the deceased was also transported to the hospital to fulfill legal formalities.
Police have launched a thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances behind the accident.
