MULTAN, Mar 15 (APP): A special drive against ticketless passengers was launched in Multan division on Sunday on direction of Divisional Superintendent Railways Mohammad Hanif.

According to the official spokesman, special checking teams have been deployed at railway stations and on trains to discourage ticketless travel, increase railway revenue and ensure better travelling facilities for passengers.

The railway administration appealed to passengers to purchase their tickets before starting their journey.

It also urged travellers to follow the rules of Pakistan Railways to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
