MULTAN, Mar 12 (APP): A special drive against ticketless passengers was launched in Multan division on Thursday on direction of Divisional Superintendent Railways Mohammad Hanif.

According to the official spokesman, the campaign against ticketless travel and black marketing of tickets has been initiated across the division.

Special checking teams have been deployed at railway stations and on trains to discourage ticketless travel, increase railway revenue and ensure better travelling facilities for passengers.

The railway administration appealed to passengers to purchase their tickets before starting their journey.

It also urged travellers to follow the rules of Pakistan Railways to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
