SPAL launches special cleanliness drive in Shahdara and Ravi Town

LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore (SPAL) on Monday stepped up its cleanliness operations across the city with a special focus on Shahdara and Ravi Town.

Under the directives of DG Suthra Punjab Babar Sahib Din, over 750 sanitary workers and 150 loader rickshaws have been deployed for door-to-door waste collection and sanitation activities.

Road scraping was underway to make major roads, chowks and intersections dust-free, while dedicated teams were ensuring cleanliness in public areas, including Shahdara Police Station, Shahdara Teaching Hospital and Shahdara Bazaar.

SPAL officers have been instructed to remain present in the field to ensure 100% attendance of workers.

The SPAL’s commitment to providing citizens with a dust-free and pleasant environment urges residents to cooperate with the sanitation teams by handing over waste to door-to-door collectors.
