HYDERABAD, Jun 15 (APP): An online discussion was held on the topic of “The Origin and History of the Sindhi Language” by Sindhi language Authority.
Speaking in the discussion, a well-known researcher of Sindhi language and history Dr. Deen Muhammad Kalhoro said that there have been many theories about the origin of Sindhi language.
Dr. Ghulam Ali Alana rejected this theory of Dr Earnest Trump.
He said that Dr. Mohabbat Buriro left politics in 1990 and started working on Sindhi language.
He had different subjects in linguistics.
He saw that there is no encyclopedia in Sindhi, except the sketches he presented, he worked on technical terms, lexicography and phonetics and the work he did was excellent.
Renowned researcher Dr. Muhammad Ali Manjhi said that Ernest Trump gave the first theory about the Sindhi language and after meeting him several times, Dr. Baloch said around 1950 that the Sindhi language belongs to the Semitic languages, it is the language of this place.
He said that Sanskrit, which had been copied on Sindhi, was then researched. Baloch rejected Trump’s theory on the basis of research, after which Dr. Ghulam Ali Alana and Siraj-ul- Haq Memon presented their theories. Rejecting the theory of Ernest Trump, he said that the ancient languages have been influenced by other languages.
The Sindhi script has been there for thousands of years, but it is the language of this country.
